ABOUT DR. ANGELA JACKSON

Research & Leadership

A Lecturer and researcher at Harvard University, Dr. Jackson teaches and advises on work systems design, workforce strategy, and organizational performance. She works with senior leaders, boards, and global institutions to translate research into practical system redesign.

Her work centers on a core thesis: work shapes quality of life, agency determines who thrives, and system design drives results at scale.

Dr. Jackson is the author of The Win-Win Workplace: How Thriving Employees Drive Bottom-Line Success, a New York Times, USA Today, and Los Angeles Times bestseller.

The book presents a research-informed, systems-level framework showing how expanding agency strengthens retention, innovation, and long-term organizational resilience.

Her research draws on data from more than 1,200 organizations and has been refined through real-world implementation with senior leaders across sectors and through the Win-Win Workplace Summit.

Prior Leadership

Previously, Dr. Jackson served as Managing Partner at New Profit, where she launched the Future of Work Grand Challenge, supporting the reskilling of more than 25,000 workers impacted by COVID-19 and building a multi-sector innovation ecosystem of employers, foundations, and education partners.

Earlier in her career, she held senior global roles at Viacom and Nokia.
